Perfect fit
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 34
- Height: 5'10"
- Weight: 180lbs
Bought for a vacation and to replace an OOOOOOOLLLLDDD pair of Quiksilver black shorts that were a staple in my closet. Quiksilver and other companies have since seemed to favor a shorter cut, for reasons I don't really understand--but RVCA knocked it out of the park with a perfect cut and the material is awesome--durable blend that looks like it's going to keep these guys looking spanking new for a long time.
Look good, feel good.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 32
- Height: 5'11"
- Weight: 175lbs
I'm not the biggest shorts guy, but I always seem to be buying these. They fit great, especially with the hems rolled up. Slightly on the tighter side, but I do have bigger thighs.
Fits a little tight
- Height: 6'1"
- Weight: 180lbs
They might run a little small but are comfy once broken in
Perfect shorts
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 33
- Height: 5'9"
- Weight: 175lbs
A go-to piece of summer attire for my boyfriend. Simple and classic.
Staple
These are my go-to shorts for the summer. Get a pair in every color for every occasion.
Nice
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These shorts are made from really tough fabric. They do run a little large.
Love Them!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
Like others have said, the sizing on these does run a bit large, but once you find your size these are super great. A bit stretchy, and super comfortable. Dig the set up they have for pockets on this as well. If you're looking for a slash pocket short I think this is the way to go.
Runs Large
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: 32
- Height: 5'8"
- Weight: 155lbs
I typically wear a size 33. but read that these shorts run big so I ordered a 32. The size 32 was a full size too large for me so went down to a 31 which is just the ticket. You might want to order a couple sizes to try before committing. Otherwise the style and fit is nice, sits just slightly above my knee. Material is on the stiff side but should soften up after to wash n' wear.
Might as well buy a burlap sack
- Size Bought: 32
- Height: 6'0"
- Weight: 160lbs
Burlap would be cheaper and feel softer against your skin. The quality of these shorts is on-par with a pair of Dickies. Stiff. Rough. Boxy. Hot. Shorts fit big - order up 2". Or get a burlap sack.
Classic Chino
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: 31
- Height: 5'10"
- Weight: 160lbs
RVCA delivers again! These are a killer pair of shorts. Can be dressed up with a button down for a classic classy look or worn with a T shirt and dont look out of place at all there either. I found they ran a little big, the fact that they are offered in in between odd sizes (33,31 etc.) allowed me to get the perfect fit. Great length as well falls just above the knee. Material seems really durable, without being too thick or stiff, but they do not have much stretch.
Really Like These!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They are similar to other chino style shorts, quality and length are great!
Love them

The Weekend
Great shorts nice feel not like Dickies. Can wear them all day. Very comfy and perfect fit not to baggie just right above the knees
Great.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size
Great shorts. They look nice, but feel casual. Really durable, high-quality material. Fit is true.
Classy looking chino shorts
Quality fabric and good deep color. The pocket seams are easy access and good depth; not a bad pair of shorts.
Stuff but awesome
Stuff pant, runs true to size. Good quality but donât get if youâre looking for shorts that have a stretch.
Perfect
I have bought multiple pairs of these. They are the perfect fit. They are pretty durable as well. Would highly recommend.
comfortable
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
- Height: 5'11"
- Weight: 140lbs
These shorts are comfortable, stay clean, and look good. Compared to jeans i had to go one size up, but past that they are great.

Great quality!
Why no navy? There's pictures of them but no option in the drop down
jeff l,
We are currently out of stock of the 'Midnight' colorway. We do have a vendor order to replenish our inventory on the way. I would expect them to be on the site available for purchase mid to late April.
What's the inseam? I'm 6'3'' and don't quite dig on the real short shorts--an inch above my knee is probably my comfort zone.
Hey Ryan,
The inseam on these shorts is 10 inches.
BOOM-shakalaka!
