Why We Like The Roxy Viva Binding
Spending the day at our favorite mountain with our best friends at our side is what the Roxy Viva Snowboard Binding is all about. Its EVA-padded baseplate and highback offer smooth, cushioned comfort for big sends and choppy snow, while the medium flex ensures we get that ideal balance of play and power for exploring every zone on the mountain. The cored toe and comfy ankle strap pull us back into the binding for even greater response while carving groomers, and tool-less adjustability helps us make changes on the fly.

Much better options for the price

I bought these around December 2022 and have ridden about 35 days on them. A few weeks ago I was getting off of a lift and must have stepped on the toe strap or something when skating off the lift. I honestly have no idea what happened, but when I went to strap in, the toe strap had completely broken off. When I got home I tried to remove the remains of the strap to replace with a strap from another binding but it wasn't compatible. I reached out to Backcountry who referred me to Liberated Brands warranty department, who then denied my warranty request to be sent a new toe strap, stating that the damage was from "trauma" not a defect. I very much disagree - even if I had stepped on the strap, it was a relatively warm day and I weigh about 100 lbs, it shouldn't have snapped the plastic like that. Besides the frustration with the lack of warranty help, the buckles on these bindings are crap - I had to re-tighten the buckles after every run and occasionally would look down mid run and have a toe strap that came unbuckled. But I do love my new Union bindings that were about the same price.
