4/3 Syncro Back Zip GBS Wetsuit
You don't have to choose between quality surf performance and your wallet thanks to the Roxy Women's 4/3 Syncro Back Zip GBS Wetsuit. Delivering premium warmth and flexibility at an affordable price, this full suit ensures you don't have to call it quits early because you're uncomfortably chilled.
It's constructed from F'N Lite neoprene, which is made with extra air bubbles to improve warmth while simultaneously reducing weight, and the Dry Flight lining reflects heat back to your body for increased comfort without the need for thicker neoprene. Wind-resistant Thermal Smoothie chest and back panels keep the breeze from sapping all your core's heat when strong winds are rolling across the coast. To keep it all together, Roxy uses triple glued and blind stitched seams for added flexibility, durability, and to minimize water entry.

Lake Superior surfing
- I've used it several times
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 5` 11"
- 158 lbs
I’ve use this wetsuit about once a week for the spring and summer months surfing in Lake Superior. I ordered the 10 tall and the only issue I have with fit is a gap at my lower back. The rest of the suit is snug, and it’s long enough for me at 5’11”. Water temps have been roughly between 48 and 60F so far, with air temps between 55 and 75F. For the warmer days the suit is perfect on its own and I actually heat up a little bit. During the lower temps I pair the suit with 5mm gloves and booties and it’s perfect (I’m purchasing a hood as well now that air temps are about to go below freezing). My only complaint is that I do get consistent water leaking from the back zipper, but I don’t know if that is exaggerated by the fact that the suit fits me loosely there. It’s easy to put on and take off and dries pretty quickly. I haven’t had any issues with stitching or seams, and the knee pads have held up after several good slams. I would definitely recommend this suit.

Wetsuit for Canyoneering
- I've used it several times
I bought this wetsuit this fall for wet canyons. I have used it a few times now. I am happy with it. It serves it's purpose and really have no complaints besides it not being the best sizing for a shorty like me! I'm 5'2 and I've found that most wetsuits seem to cater to taller humans with the lengthy legs and long arms. But oh well, I make do! It keeps me warm on chilly days, though, not suitable for freezing temps. I will be purchasing a 7mm wetsuit for that! I plan to only use this roxy wetsuit for late spring, summer and early fall seasons (weather pending).

How much buoyancy is there for this suit? What does the thickness designation of 4 / 3 F mean?
