R3 130 T.I. - I.R. Alpine Touring Boot

The Men's R3 130 T.I. - I.R. Alpine Touring Boot is the stiffest boot that Roxa build for backcountry touring. A 130 flex gives it an aggressive freeride performance suitable for advanced riders dropping big lines in heavy powder. Not only is it one of the stiffest backcountry boots out there, it's also surprisingly comfortable with a moderately narrow 99mm last and Roxa's BioFit design. Biofit pre-forms the shell to provide relief in common "issue" areas for all-day comfort. This R3 Boot boasts a thermo-moldable liner to enhance comfort even further.

Roxa built the R3 130 out of an innovative Cabrio construction that uses three pieces instead of the standard two. Cabrio provides an easier entry, a higher range of hiking, a tenacious lateral power and downhill control. The buckles, even the walk mode latch, are metal to ensure solid security. The GripWalk sole uses rubber lugs to allow traction on rocks, ice, and steep boot packs.
