Why We Like The Rossignol XV Snowboard

When we find ourselves peering down the biggest line on the mountain, whether it is covered in fresh snow, refrozen crud, or spring corn, we turn to the Rossignol XV Snowboard to provide the stability and performance we need to get to the bottom in style. This directional big-mountain board is super stable and easily controlled to ensure we feel comfortable and stay in complete control when dealing with dicey lines, sketchy steeps, and open powder fields.

Why change a board that was perfect?

I ride since 1988 and owned the Rossi Experience boards and most XV boards and split versions in 163 and 167cm over the years and loved them all. I don't like this new XV 162. Its much heavier (500 grams compared to the old 163) , softer, thicker and has no serrated edges. Did I get a wrong or different board?

Rossignol ruined this board :(

I used to have 2018 Magtek 167 version of this board and so I figured it's time for update so against my better judgement I got the 2024. The 2018 XV was absolutely perfect, but the 2024 feels like a wet noodle. I'm not sure why Rossignol decided to mess with the board that was basically perfect but it's completely ruined. This is the worst riding 167 I've had in my 24 years of riding.

Did Rossignol achieve perfection with this board?

In one word…yes. This is the fourth model of this board that I have owned. Powder off piste or laying trenches on steep groomers. If you’re a big guy and want to ride aggressively, this is your board

Amazing!

This board is amazing I got it and instantly tried it out, while it wasn’t the best snow day I am excited to see how this board truly handles.

Awesome Ride

Fast, quick edge to edge, extremely responsive . Just a great board. My 3rd Rossi and each better than the last. Asked for a special import from a dealer here in Aus and service was faultless

Carving confidence builder

Almost any board is good in powder. But sometimes there’s no powder to be found, then the XV gives you confidence for high speed carving. This means you can have fun with a snowboard also powderless!
