    XV Snowboard

When you find yourself peering down the biggest line on the mountain, whether it is covered in fresh snow, refrozen crud, or spring corn, turn to the Rossignol XV to provide the stability and performance you need to get to the bottom in style. This directional big mountain board is super stable and easily controlled to ensure you feel comfortable and are in complete control when dealing with dicey big mountain lines and open powder fields.

The key to this stability and control lies in the stiff directional flex, versatile Amptek Elite profile, and serrated edge technology. The 10 out of 10 rated flex is as stiff as you can find in Rossignol's line but fear not, this board still has some forgiveness. The shovel is slightly softer than the tail, allowing you to initiate turns more easily while still having an incredibly stable platform under your back foot. Working with that stiff flex, the Amptek Elite profile mixes a generous camber section between the feet with rocker in the tip and tail. The camber section provides powerful energy transfer to the edges for strong and secure edging when you need it while the rockered tip easily skips over piles of crud and floats through deep fresh snow on the best days of the season. Adding to these important technologies, the serrated edges add additional edge hold between the feet to ensure you can stop and control your self when things get hairy.

    • Big mountain board for the biggest lines and drops on the mountain
    • Directional shape is stable and makes for easy turn initiation
    • Amptek Elite profile blends camber and rocker for a controlled ride

    • Serrated edge technology adds extra grip in icy snow conditions
    • Super fast and easily kept sintered base gets you back to the lift

    Stiff, Fast and Fun!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The XV has been one of my go to boards for a few years now. It is the board of choice for steep scary lines and is my go to for most of my days at Snowbird and Jackson. It is a very stiff and stable board at speed. The serated edges help when dealing with steep sketchy icy terrain and the amteck elite profile provides good float while still being extremely responsive. It is not a board for mellow days as it requires focus and work to ride it well. If you ride steep lines enjoy high speed carving and just like to get after it this is a great board. I would only recommend the XV for Advanced and expert riders

XV slayer for all types of conditions !

I have used this board around the world and it has handled everything from groomers at Snowbird, too steeps in AK, and deep powder in Japan with ease !! Its a great board for high speeds and big airs. It handles on a dime in Powder and it holds the best edge i have ever ridden on ice ! Go enjoy this beast !!!
