The Squad 7 sports Rossignol's powder-specific Powder Turn rocker profile, which consists of minimal camber underfoot and a heavily rockered tip and tail. And if that wasn't enough to keep the Squad 7 up in the deep stuff, Rossignol went ahead and hooked it up with their Air Tip technology, which keeps the tips of the skis light and wanting to plane through the deepest stashes. The reduced weight in the tip and tail not only adds to the skis powder performance, but it also reduces swing weight for easier turn initiation and better maneuverability when you're slashing turns through tight trees and down narrow chutes. A paulownia wood core keeps the Squad 7 light, nimble, and playful, while a Minicap sandwich construction combines the durability and stability of full-length sidewalls with a capped topsheet to prevent chipping and excessive wear on the topsheets
