Delta Course Skate Ski

If you're not a world-class skier, but still want something that will take your skiing to the next level then the Delta Course Skate Ski from Rossignol might just tickle your sweet spot. It packs plenty of lightweight race performance, thanks to a Light Honeycomb core that's exceptionally strong in compression, allowing the ski to rebound quickly and drive forward without losing power. Uniquely among Rossignol's skate skis, the Delta Course sports a one-layer carbon fiber sheet that's laminated onto the honeycomb core, providing extra power and stiffness without jacking up weight unnecessarily. The Course weighs in at only 20g heavier than its World Cup big brother, a difference that even the princess who slept on a pea wouldn't notice.

The performance isn't all hidden away on the inside. RossiCap technology keeps the tip and tail somewhat flexible, allowing it to glide over soft or uneven snow in a vaguely slithery movement that Rossignol calls "snake effect." Sticking with the viperous theme, the Racing Cobra sidecut is slightly wider in the tip, allowing for more fluid skating and an easier ski return by preventing the tip from wandering too far when it's on edge. When the ski is riding flat, double groove guides keep it tracking in a straight line, and a K7000 base has a super-fast World Cup finish that will help you leave your competitors in the dust. The Course comes mounted with an NIS plate, allowing for easy drill- and screw-free binding mountain and adjustment of NNN bindings.
