On the days where hidden powder stashes have to be found, we’re clipped into the Rossignol Blackops Stargazer Ski. Its lightweight construction takes you up the skin track or bootpack while vibration-dampening tech and a light swing weight provide you with confident downhill performance. Once a powder stash has been found, the Stargazer surfs through the deep stuff and provides you the control and edge hold after you cruise into the hard pack.

Quality issues

Familiarity:: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

There's a chunk missing between the edge and tail that is not smooth. Rossignol said it was within their tolerances and I should epoxy. Helped me justify the price of USA made skis instead.
