Why We Like The Rossignol Blackops 98 Ski
The freedom we feel on skis is what draws us to the mountains and the Rossignol Blackops 98 Ski brings freestyle and freeride freedom in droves. The 98mm waist on these skis lets us lay an edge on firm groomers and float through low amounts of powder with ease. This narrow waist teams up with a low swing weight and rocker in the tip and tail to encourage us to spin off natural takeoffs, air over rollers, and stomp tricks in any snow conditions.

Perfect Ski for US Midwest
Excellent ski for trees. Does a more-than-serviceable job carving on groomers. This ski is for park-minded skiers who know realistically they won’t hit the park as often as they’d like.

Rented these skis when I was in Colorado and immediately fell in love. Came back home and bought them!

What a great ski!
I've bought Rossi's park skis for several years. I ski mostly trees and steeps, and the versatility built into this park ski shines in such terrain. I love the rocker and wide waist for soft Utah snow. The symmetric mounting makes it easy to flip to backwards skiing (I'm an instructor, so this is important). With the rocker, it skis short, so don't skimp on length when you order. I'm 6'3", 165 pounds and bought a 192.

Sustainability!
Geared towards all-mountain riders. Lot’s of pop and carves like a dream. 10/10 on the freshness scale.

Fantastic skis
Love how these skis glide through powdered snow! Especially near the end of the day where runs become uneven, really easy to cut through these with ease!

All smiles
I bought these to replace my Sky 7s, which I loved, but I wanted a slightly shorter ski. These are somehow even better than the Sky 7s. Stable at speed, carves well, and floats in the powder. Truly a single quiver winner.
