Between its classic click-and-pawl drag and lightweight design, it's easy to see why you wouldn't want to fish with any other reel than the Ross Colorado LT. This spare spool gives you the option to switch the reel between different rods (just as long as it'll fit the appropriate line for your rod) or just keep a different line spooled and ready to fish when you need a more delicate taper to cast dry flies or a sinking line when stillwater fly fishing.
