    Pristine powder awaits.

Who needs a season pass when you have the Rome Whiteroom Splitboard? This versatile splits lets you ditch the lift lines in favor of all the untouched powder the backcountry has to offer. It has a floaty design that surfs through the deepest snow with ease, but still packs enough power and edge hold for taking on steep couloirs and charging through exposed terrain.

Lightweight Karakoram Ultra clips actively pull the two halves of the board together to eliminate unnerving chatter down the seam, giving you greater confidence when you're in critical terrain. Its set-back stance and Powder S profile keep the nose up and floating through the deepest powder and provide straight-line confidence for pointing it down steep chutes and mowing over bumpy, chopped-up snow. Meanwhile camber underfoot maintains pop and edge hold for a powerful feel and performance in less-than-fresh snow.

Shaving weight for uphill efficiency, the AirPop Core Matrix combines five zones of ultra-light wood, with air channels reducing weight even further. StraightTriax 30 laminates provide the torsional response and high-speed stability for charging the steep and deep. Carbon Double Barrel TurboRods add pop to the tail section of the board, allowing you to boost massive ollies and snap out of turns with powerful response. To ensure plenty of speed across deep snow and low-angle runouts, the SinterSpeed base readily absorbs wax for high-speed glide.

    Rome Whiteroom Splitboard

For those riders who consider the chairlift to be second fiddle, the Whiteroom provides the freedom to access untracked snow and explore new terrain. Armed with our Powder- S camber, a powerful positive cambered tail blends into a rockered nose to float in deep snow you’re now standing on top of. Find it, split it, slash it, repeat as needed.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Rome Whiteroom is considered by many to be one of the best splitboards on the market to ride. This stiff, heavily cambered board gives great edge hold on the skin track and loads of pop to make the short ride down the best it can be. The Whiteroom comes with some nice features including Karakorum's Ultra Clips to make sure your board is super secure and there's little to no separation, and SinterStrong sidewalls to take the abuse a splitboard endures. It is compatible with both puck systems and Karakorum's mounting system.
