Park-proven, urban-honed shred stick.
Rope tow parks, late night urban missions, and early-season sessions are where you can find the Rome Artifact Snowboard in its natural habitat. Loaded with the poppy, locked-in feel of traditional camber, the Artifact remains the top urban rail mission and all-out park destroyer for heavy-hitting team riders LNP and Riley Nickerson. Stay Positive camber provides the pop and power that other profiles imitate but never duplicate, while the Skatecore profiling thins out the board between the bindings and thickens it underfoot for a skate-like feel that's as close to a pair of trucks as you'll get on snow.
The Stomp Core Matrix is reinforced with impact-resistant wood in high-impact areas to increase dampening and strength, and a HotRods Single Glass Barrel running down the center increases pop without sacrificing the mellow torsional flex. A StraightBiax laminate keeps the flex soft and makes it easy to ride. Rebound sidewalls increase impact absorption to prevent blowouts and breaks when you're gapping to big down rails, and they also smooth out the ride a bit. It's finished with a high-density Impact base for extra durability, because sometimes there's not a lot of snow on top of that concrete.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Hands down best all around board I've ever ridden. It can rip carves and ride all mountain when you need it too but is still forgiving when it comes to park butters/ jibbing with loads of pop provided from carbon rods in the nose and tail to Ollie all those slow signs your local ski patrol try to make tall enough so you don't ;)
Traditional Camber for Big Power
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
There's not too many traditional camber boards out nowadays, but that doesn't mean they aren't worthwhile. The Rome Artifact is one of those tried-and-true camber boards for the more aggressive park rider. With a medium flex and camber profile, this board has tons of ollie power to send it over obstacles on the jib line and lock in those tricks, at the cost of forgiveness. Traditional camber is for the more aggressive rider that needs that extra pop to get over that traffic divider for your sick video part.
