As our child's skills progress, keeping them on a bike that allows them to increase their skills further is important. The Rocky Mountain Reaper 26 Mountain Bike is the next step up our kids deserve and features an extra capable design with aggressive geometry for riding harder trails. This version of the Reaper rolls on 26-inch wheels for enhanced traction and rolling efficiency compared to smaller child's wheel sizes and features 130mm of smoothlink suspension for all-mountain performance. The Reaper is exceptionally slack for a kid's trail bike and has a 64.6-degree head tube angle in the neutral setting for maximum confidence when riding new, steep trails. With many of the same features as the adult bikes, the Rocky Mountain Reaper is the perfect way for a young rider to take the next step up.
The Reaper 26 Mountain Bike is loaded with modern components, a durable aluminum frame, and a 10-speed drivetrain to take our kids' performance to the next level. First up, Rocky Mountain's FORM alloy frame is super durable and can withstand crashes and falls that are bound to happen. The MicroShift Advent X 10-speed drivetrain gives us a huge range similar to adult bikes so that we can make it up those technical climbs. The RockShox Monarch R and the RockShox Recon Gold, 130mm, combine to bring us bump and impact-absorbing prowess that will have our little ones bombing down trails they used to be scared of.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
