Speed with a sensitive side.

It's no secret that cross-country racing has pushed into gnarlier realms over the past decade or so, with pro-level courses littered with technical rock gardens and root sections that would challenge the most experienced of trail riders. That's why RockShox revised their cross-country thoroughbred SID Fork for 2018, adding a 120-millimeter option for taming technical courses, alongside their signature DebonAir spring to increase sensitivity to rocks and roots standing in your way. As such, you'll find the RockShox SID RLC 29 Charger DebonAir 120 Boost Fork is specifically designed for conquering the most technical of cross-country courses with 120 millimeters of travel and increased sensitivity—all while keeping weight down to competitive realms for cross-country racers and riders.

RockShox's DebonAir spring overhauls the previous SID's Solo Air spring by increasing the negative air spring volume for heightened levels of small-bump sensitivity and greater traction when you're muscling up climbs with momentum-stopping roots and rocks. Not only does it get the DebonAir upgrade for less friction, but it's now loaded with the new Charger 2 damper, which is retrofitted from RockShox's Pike to fit inside the SID's skinnier 32-millimeter chassis. The Charger 2 damper gives you the ability to switch between Open and Firm settings, as well as dial in low-speed compression to suit your particular riding style and the terrain at hand.

It's now compatible with RockShox's OneLoc and TwistLoc remotes (sold separately), so you can lockout your RockShox fork and shock simultaneously while sprinting towards the finish line or climbing up smooth fire roads. Additionally, you'll find the SID RLC is compatible with SRAM's Torque Caps for added front wheel stiffness and precise tracking through rocky terrain, as well as working with SRAM's Bottomless Tokens for progressive ramp-up at end stroke to prevent the SID RLC from bottoming out on bigger hits and more technical race courses.
