WCS 1-Bolt Seatpost
Sleek and durable, the WCS 1-Bolt Seatpost showcases the hallmarks of Ritchey’s design philosophy in a 3D-forged alloy post. Using a single side-load clamp provides a streamlined adjustment for both seat angle and fore-aft positioning. Two setback options allow you to perfect your fit to maximize pedaling efficiency: a 20mm offset provides a more relaxed position, while the 0mm places you closer to the bars for a more compact position. The WCS 1-Bolt is compatible with alloy-rail saddles, though an interchangeable clamp is available from Ritchey directly for use with carbon rails.

Much Heavier Than Claimed
- True to size
CC lists the weight for the 27.2 x 350 setback version at 160 grams, but Ritchey claims the weight is 195 grams, and the seatpost I received comes in at 230 grams. That’s 45% higher than the CC claim, and almost 20% heavier than the Ritchey spec. I don’t mind if a component is a bit heavier than advertised, as samples can vary a bit, but this post is much heavier than advertised. Not sure where CC got the 160 gram weight, probably just a listing error, but I’m disappointed that this fairly expensive aluminum post is nowhere near the weight claimed by either the maker or the seller.

Awesome perch for your saddle
- I've used it several times
The best part of this seat post is how quick and easy it is to dial it in. The simple 1 bolt design makes adjustments a breeze, there is no awkward fighting with that front bolt on a 2 bolt design, worth it to me.
