Used Wetsuit and no Rip Curl documents

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
12

This wetsuit is great and has a fantastic look. The issue is when I received the product it was not in the original Rip Curl packaging and contained no documentation that comes with a Rip Curl suit. After further inspection of the wetsuit, it was apparent that it had been used by creases at the arms and the knees, however I paid full price. After contacting the customer service at BC, she said contacting them 16 days after I received the product was a little late and they suggested that I contact Rip Curl for documentation. This seems absurd because Rip Curl didn't sell it to me. At the end of the call she did offer a 20% discount. Although I did not think this was enough after being tricked into thinking I bought a new suit that clearly showed use, she said that was all she could offer at a discount. This was not a very good first time experience with BC. Although if I was just giving feedback about the wetsuit, I would have given it a 5 star review. Taking into consideration the company selling this and handling it in the end, I gave a below average rating.

great fit and warm

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
10
Height:
5' 8"
Weight:
155

This was thicker than I expected, which is good. It would be warm enough in the fall and spring in some situations. But watch other surfers -- are they all wearing full suits? I decided to keep this suit in a smaller size, for SUP in cooler weather. If picking long leg wetsuit without arms, vs full arms and shorts, I prefer to have my arms covered. I am just over 5' 8" and 155 lb and size 12 was a bit larger than I needed. I kept the size 10. Using the size chart, I thought I needed the size 12, but I didn't. Shoulders are a little narrow at first, but needed to allow the arms to adjust, esp. adjusting the fit around the elbow.
