    Powerflex does no wrong!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You can obviously pay for flouro leaders that cost more, however, it's a very rare occurrence that you spook fish because your leader was visible (unless it's just too short). I fish with these leaders exclusively and have always found them to be incredibly durable and they roll over well. If you're in stillwater then just add a bit of flouro tippet to the end of these leaders for both invisibility and to lengthen the life of your leader!

    They'll Never Lead You Astray

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a leader wallet full of RIO. I pair these knotted leaders with RIO Powerflex for dries flies. I keep a leader straightener handy so I can quickly get the kinks ironed out quickly

THREE PACK ALL THE WAY! I always opt for the three pack - it's more economical than a single leader

    Strong and durable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Pairing these leaders with rio power flex tippet has always been my go to. Durable, strong, and sensitive. I mostly fish high alpine lakes and go with a 9 ft 3x for the 5/6 weight Ross setup I use.

    Tippet

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There is tippet, and then there is Rio tippet. I have used RIO Fluorflex Tippet from the start and it has never failed me. Very supple feel. Highly recommended. If you have any questions hit me at 801-523-4075 or email me at borloski@backcountry.com

    Tippet

    Solid leaders

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got the 3 pack in 3x and it is solid for dry fly fishing or nymphing. Makes knots really well with any size tippet, haven't had it rip on me with a fish on so I can definitely say I trust Rio!

    Simply awesome!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

You can't beat the RIO leaders. I personally catch plenty of fish using the powerflex rather than the flouro, so this is my go to. They cast well and hold up to big fish.

    Here fishy fishy.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You can't go wrong with Rio. Trusted and tried on the water! These leaders are a go to. Durable with all the finesse you need to land some tail. Definitely invest in a leader straightener.

    Good All Purpose

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are great all purpose leaders and they taper down to any diameter you would want for trout. Can be used equally well for dries, nymphs and streamers. Did a great job landing this nice brown.
