You won't regret it.

RIO's Fluroflex Plus Tippet has a higher knot strength than standard nylon tippet and reflects less light than nylon, making it next to invisible to trout. This makes this tippet more reliable when you're playing large trout, and it will ultimately lead to more fish on the end of your line. Please note that fluorocarbon is not biodegradable and should always be packed out and properly disposed of.

Proper tippet choice is important for that perfect presentation. This gives you the 3 most common trout weight tippets in one roll. Buy this, it makes life easier.

Finicky Fish

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Fishing pressured water? Dont leave home without this. Going to the ranch section of the henry's fork to fool big spring creek rainbows? Don't leave home without this. I have now, unfortunately, strictly used fluro tippets on all of my dropper rigs and nymph rigs and RIO has always been my go to. I also find myself reaching for it when i am throwing small dries in pressured waters, i.e The Pan, The South Holston, Silver Creek, and even the Provo if it calls for it. Some will say it sinks better than mono and therefore shouldn't be used for dry fly fishing, good thing they invented floatant then!

The Industry Standard

Familiarity:

I have been using Rio tippet and leaders for years now and I can not say enough how many times this stuff has saved my butt when it comes to keeping a big fish on. Rio is the standard by which all others are measured

Used 100's of yards of this stuff...

Familiarity:

...over the years. This is my go-to nymph line. Super strong, sinking, reflects less light than mono, and doesn't stretch as much. The three pack also saves a little money over buying individual spools. Great stuff!

Catch More Fish

This is a great nymph tippet, very strong and translucent. This tippet is great for euro nymphing with it being slightly weighted down it helps getting your rig down to the bottom feeders and helps eliminate any split shot.

I'm a Flouro Fan!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This tippet is made of flourocarbon, which means it's more or less invisible to fish while also maintaining incredible strength and flex when a fish is hooked. Obviously, there's a time and a place for normal nylon tippet, but I find that this has me covered 99.999999% of the time. You can take it to the bank that when your fly's tied to the end of this that your margin for error is a bit larger than otherwise! Use it for extending leaders or tying on droppers... it's all magic!

Required for Nymphs and Streamers

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Fluorocarbon is a must have for nymphing and streamer fishing in any fly fishing situation whether it is for freshwater or saltwater. Fluorocarbon is more abrasion resistant and has a superior refraction index making it virtually invisible in water, thus allowing you to use higher pound test if you are tangling with bigger and more skittish fish in clear water.

Most Definitely Needed

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This Fluoroflex Tippet by RIO is so great. It is super strong, unbelievably clear, and a must have to tie on to your leader once it starts to get short on you. It has a little more sink to it than a typical monofilament tippet which is the main reason that I love it for nymphing. It is virtually invisible so it's so effective when your dealing with some spooky fish! Overall 5 star tippet that I would 100% recommend, especially if you are going to be throwing some nymph rigs out there. Pair it with a RIO Fluoroflex leader and you'll be all set!

Great tippet for staying incognito and to hook some stubborn fish. Love the bundle pack!
