Turn big mountains into your personal playground.

Bottomless powder laps and mesmerizing big-mountain lines are fair game when you're strapped into Jake Blauvelt's signature Ride Berzerker Snowboard. Appropriately named, this deck is a balls-out charger, going berserk through pow-filled trees and steep, technical terrain, courtesy of directional shape and responsive flex pattern. Using a lengthened nose rocker, the Berzerker effortlessly planes across untracked pow without burning up your back leg. From the front inserts on back, the board's camber delivers stability and response, especially when you're driving turns down steep faces.

Enhancing response when slaying steeps and sending cliff lines into fluffy powder, the Pop Rods 2.0 core features V-shaped carbon rods for added drive off the back foot. Adding more carbon to the equation, Carbon Array 3 laminates enhance energy transfer for greater precision through turns. A combination of triax and biax glass keeps the board calm and composed at high speeds, but without making it an overly stiff brick when you're surfing turns in the white room.

New for this season, Ride upgraded the Berzerker with Roll In Slimewalls. Just like regular Slimewalls, urethane-embedded sidewalls deliver the benefits of reduced impact and vibration. However, the urethane is now surrounded by fiberglass on each side for increased resistance to topsheet chipping and sidewall blow-outs, especially in the event of an impact. Another key feature is the Fusion 4000 sintered base, which glides quickly across deep snow and flat run-outs. This way, you're not bogging down in low-angle stashes or struggling just to get unstuck in super-deep powder.

    • Energetic freeride board for big mountain lines and deep powder
    • Directional Rocker for a powerful board with incredible float
    • Diretional shape increases stability and float in fresh snow
    • Medium flex is highly responsive without being overly stiff

    • Roll In Slimewalls prevent damage and reduce vibration
    • Fusion 4000 base readily absorbs wax for high-speed glide

    Awesome all around!!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This thing will float in deep pow pow with minimal effort, cruise over choppy areas and moguls but it really rips on groomers. The directional hybrid camber is stellar!! hold a good edge when carving but when you really dig and carve hard this thing responds like it's on rails!! I love this board. Top contender for all mountain if you ask me. I've ridden a few of the new burtons and a libtech and this board was my choice over the 3. If you get this board you will love it. Plain and simple.

    Great all mountain board

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The Ride Berzerker is my first snowboard after renting an Arbor rocker board about 4 or 5 times. I started with a pair of Ride Lasso boots (dual BOA, ~7 on the flex scale) but then decided to go all out and get the whole setup including the Berzerker paired up with Union Atlas bindings (also supposedly a 7 but closer to a 5 or 6 on flex). This board is spec'd as a 5 on flex but seems like a 6 to me. I'm 6' 155 lbs and got the 156 length.

I'm a beginner snowboarder and was looking for a board that felt stable at speed that I can learn to take a few small jumps on. The Berzerker definitely feels more stable at speed (>30mph) than the rocker I've been renting. The board/binding setup feels lighter also. One concern I had was committing to a cambered board that might be less forgiving and discourage my progress. First day on the mountain but I'm pleasantly surprised on how easy this board is to control. I'm just getting comfortable riding switch and would also note that while this board is a "directional" twin it is not an issue riding switch. Bindings set at +21 -12. I found the suggested stance at 22" a bit wide and started at ~21".

Overall a great board that exudes quality. I'm not crazy about the gloss finish but it's growing on me. If you have big feet (>11) then consider the wide version as the waist is pretty thin on this one. I would recommend this board to anyone looking for an all mountain hybrid.

    Great all mountain board
