Built for life in motion, the Rhone Men's Bullitt Short conforms to your every movement with its four-way ripstop stretch fabric. This fabric is not only extremely flexible for optimal use when you're working out in the gym and running along your favorite trail, but it's also extremely quick-drying for high levels of overall comfort when you're sweating profusely.

The Lycra-lined waistband won't irritate your lower body, and it's elasticized for a stay-put fit through fast movement. A media pocket secures your phone so you can bump your favorite tunes while you work out, while a hidden back pocket stashes your key when you set out on long runs.

I own multiple pairs of the Rhone Mako and I wanted to give this version a try given how much I like the Makos. I also wanted to understand the difference. Basically, the Bullit's ripstop material is a tad more substantial than the Mako's. The Mako is an ultralight weight nylon that barely feels like it is on. Whereas the Bullit is ripstop which is slightly more substantial and weighs a bit more. Frankly, I like both shorts and now own both so when deciding, it comes down to personal preference. My only constructive feedback is the lack of a rear (butt) pocket on these shorts. I end up wearing both sets of shorts during physical activities as well as casually and a rear pocket would be nice. The fit is very modern with the inseam hitting about an inch above my knee (perfect for me).
