- Q & A
Chic and Timeless.
I get why people rave about RAEN, now—or, at least, I get why my hubby has raved about them for years. The construction is obviously very durable and thoughtfully made. Lenses are awesome quality despite the fact that they aren't polarized - I'd venture to say that they're far superior to Smith's non-polarized lenses (which IMHO are really good and offer dependable clarity). Admittedly, I always find that non-polarized lenses end up distorting my vision and rendering it difficult to wear them, however with the Squire I don't experience that at all.
This frame is very beatnik-meets-80s inspired. I think it's akin to Ray-Ban's wayfarers, but a better-fitting shape for my small face overall - they're a little more narrow in the bottom width of the lens compared to my Wayfarers. I bought the crystal frame and it's every ounce as awesome as I hoped it would be. Buying shades before trying them on can be a hit or miss experience, but I think the Squire is a universally appealing and attractive silhouette for all face sizes. I'll definitely be buying more RAEN sunnies in the future.
Not my first pair

Bought these for my cousin because he loves these glasses. If you are a hipster you should get these.
