RCF001R Race Face SixC Crank Arms
The Race Face SixC Crank Arms are the lightest DH arms in the universe. So, if you’re looking for Earth’s version of indestructible crank arms, but you’re also trying to keep the weight to a minimum, there’s no reason to look anywhere else. This is due to Race Face’s ultra-high-density unidirectional carbon fiber, which is shaped into the SixC crank arms with its proprietary hollow-molding process.
There’s even more to these crank arms than that. The SixC uses Race Face’s Cinch system to make it the most versatile crank setup in existence. Imagine interchangeable spiders, limitless ring combinations, a 30mm alloy spindle and compatibility across all relevant frame standards. That means, unless it’s a discontinued model from a brand that went out of business 30 years ago, your frame will happily accept the Race Face SixC crank arm setup with the drivetrain that you want to run.

great look and feel!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
set these up on my custom Mach 5.5 build this year. I love the carbon look of these, paired with some Race Face crank boots and I'm all set to rip around the trails this summer.
Carbon Crank & Spindle
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This crank-set comes with internal 68/73mm spindle
Light, strong, and stiff
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
So far no issues with these. They're on my DH bike but weigh little enough for your am bike as well. I paired them with the race face crank boots for some extra protection and so far they are still in great shape. Wish you could get a King Bottom bracket for them but that's about my only gripe.
Yes you can, Ive got the king threadfit 30 in there now. :)
Chris king makes a 30 mm B.B. that will work with these currently running one check them out
Direct-Mount Ring
32T Race Face Next SL ring mounted up. CLEAN!
Carbon Candy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Where to start...the RF SIXc cranks are awesome! They're burly enough to hold up to full on DH riding but come in at a weight that rivals that of many carbon XC cranks, partly due to the direct-mount chainring setup. If direct-mount rings aren't your cup of tea, however, RF also makes a direct-mount spider, making the SIXc cranks incredibly versatile. Installing the chain ring is a cinch, simply using a Shimano/ISIS bottom bracket tool (Park Tool# PAR0063).
It's worth noting that the cranks come with the rubber crank boots (black) to protect them from jealous rocks. Unless you want to spice it up with a different color, save the money you were going to spend on the crank boots and take your muse on a date to somewhere fancy like Applebee's.
Considering buying these cranks.
Which raceface spindle does this crank set include?
Would be helpful with determining chain-line and q factor from the information provided here> http://www.raceface.com/comp/inst/Crank_Q-factors_and_chainlines.pdf
Thx!
Hi Luke, just bought these myself and had the same conundrum. If you read the second sentence of the third paragraph it tells you which spindle. This one is 68/73. Hope this helps.
Cheers
How do these compare to the RaceFace SL cranks? I was looking to get those for my Trek Farley
Hi, I want to know if the shaft size is 83mm
tin105974991,
This particular SKU is for the 68/73mm version of the SIXc cranks. Here's a link to the 83mm spindle version:

As of 2017 you now can get a king 30mm thread fit BB that will work
