Ok ladies, this is the ultimate parka. It can withstand any weather and it keeps you warm and dry!! I have the regular coat length version and I loved it so much that I splurged and got the parka as well. This is an all-in-one jacket! It is fully waterproof, windproof, and extremely warm. The outward facing material is also very durable and can withstand the wear and tear of every day use. If you're someone who runs cold or spends a lot of time outside in the cold, I would highly recommend this jacket.

Recently purchased this jacket. Most expensive coat I've ever bought in my life. At 41 I thought it was about time to invest in a quality item that would see me through the cold and wet Sheffield Winters. Trust me they can be pretty harsh!!! Great fit, love the colour, I went for the blue one (makes my blues pop, eyes that is) just feels so warm and cosy on. I've been walking early doors recently, still a frost at times so it's been absolutely perfect. I feel its such a great investment. Love the sleeves and hood and shape at the back. Well done Rab..... you've got it so right with this one!!!

My Rab Valliance parka in

My Rab Valliance parka in Fig size 18 has been invaluable in the last month- it is lighweight and warm with spacious room to add layers underneath. The raglan sleeves make it a more comfortable fit while it is longer than jackets -perfect for a taller woman!

What a wonderfully warm coat.

What a wonderfully warm coat. Delighted with my purchase. Highly recommend. Size wise I’m between 12-14 so bought a 14 which fits a treat. Arrived within a day of ordering.

My wife says it keeps

My wife says it keeps her very warm and is certainly waterproof which is great. Really light weight as well. I would say that size is about right and accounts for you wearing something underneath as well like a fleece or jumper. It is not a close fit.

Lots of opportunities to wear

Lots of opportunities to wear it recently in heavy rain and great to feel dry and not soggy! Wish there was a greater range of coloours.

Treated myself to this jacket last year, so warm and cosy, great fit. Kept you cosy, but didn’t overheat. Would definitely recommend it..

Great jacket but sizing all over the place!

Lovely warm, cosy jacket. Great hood. The only downside is that the sizes are crazy! I firstly ordered a size 14, as Rab items usually come up small and I wanted to be able to layer up, plus it's advertised as 'True to size'. When it arrived it was huge, especially around the stomach, and I have do have a belly! I ordered a size 12 which is slightly snug, but much better than the 14. I compared the two jackets and there is a good 4 inches extra width to the size 14. Massive difference! It's probably safer to go down rather than up, or order two sizes for comparison.

Perfect Winter coat

Accurate size, I am quite tall and the sleeves and length are perfect for a taller person. I wanted a warm, wind proof, waterproof and light coat and this has exceeded my expectations. The ink blue colour is beautiful. Looks better in the flesh, the photos don’t do it justice.
