Built for the vertical realm.
Quick alpine scrambles, multi-day treks, and cool-weather rock routes all call for the Rab Men's Torque Pant. A combination of Matrix softshell fabrics shield you from wet and windy weather while the generous fabric stretch and articulated knees allow you to execute a full range of climbing movements. Plus, the zippered cuffs let you take them on and off over boots, and the DWR coating repels moisture so foggy alpine days and dewy alpine starts won't make you soggy.

Really cool pants!

I'm becoming a big Rab Fan! Ok, the review. They are on the light side, so if it gets too cold, just add a base layer. I like the flexibility to add warmth if I need it. The design style is very very cool. I'm a 32.5 or so waist (5'9" ht) and a medium fits great in the legs. It's a very flattering fit, not tons of extra material flapping around, just a bit of nice looseness for movement. If you are say a 33, I'd go up in size.
In the butt and waist when you first put them on, they do seem to hug you and I didn't like that at first, but once you wear them they loosen, but don't get mega baggy. The elastic on the ankles is great, not too tight at all and length is good, not tons of extra length bunching up down there like Arcteryx, but just enough extra so they don't ride up.
The color scheme and design is phenomenal. I want to get the lime green ones next and switch em up. They breath very well and no problems there. Just superbly clean and functional. I will say thigh pockets would be perfect on these. I am a believer in lots of pockets especially thigh pockets.
I've the Rab Infinity Down Jacket that I got recently too and it's the best down jacket I've ever owned and I've owned a few. Rab is the unsung hero of gear. Cool European brand.
