Home is where your sleeping bag lies.

When your home consists of two aluminum poles holding up a couple pieces water-repellent ripstop material and can be easily packed into a stuff sack the size of a girthy Italian sub, there's something truly homey about slipping into the Rab Neutrino 200 Sleeping Bag: 35 Degree Down after a long night on the trail. Constructed with a durable Quantum Pertex ripstop material, this sleeping bag is equipped with a tapered mummy construction, trapezoidal baffle design, angled footbox, and internal draft collar (complete with drawcord), while the 800-fill down insulation is finished with a Nikwax water-resistant treatment that makes the down hydrophobic and also is fluorocarbon-free. Not to mention, the Neutrino 200 weighs in at just over one and a quarter pounds, making this sleeping bag ideal for backpacking, bikepacking, or minimalist hiking.

    Hand Filled in Derbyshire

Sleeping bags are firmly where we started and they remain a core part of our range to this day. Back in the 1970's when Rab Carrington was making sleeping bags in Patagonia, he probably didn't imagine that 40 years later sleeping bags with his name on them would be used all over the world in some of the most beautiful yet hostile environments.

To this day, we hand-fill our down insulated sleeping bags at our factory in Derbyshire, UK. This allows us to know for definite that, by the time our bags reach our customers, they have never been compressed or stored in a way which could be harmful for the down inside. By filling the bags in house, we can be completely sure that every down sleeping bag that leaves our factory will arrive to our customers in the best possible condition.

Hi, I can't decide between this sleeping bag and Kelty SB 35 Sleeping Bag. Price seems the same the down grade and quantity. The Rab is a little lighter I think this is due to the lighter outer fabric. Beyond that I think Rab is much more
renowned company for down products. Any reason why I should pick the Kelty?

Peter, only if you would like something slightly wider. The Kelty will have a little more room throughout the bag. Personally I like to be snug in the sleeping bag, less to warm up and normally I move around at night but, when I am locked in a bag I am fine sleeping on my back.
