Your go-to alpine adventure buddy.

Built for multi-day use in the varying conditions of the mountains, the Rab Men's Merino Plus 160 Hooded Top offers dry, warm comfort in a midweight design. The Merino+ fabric blends merino wool with polyester for odor-resistance and moisture-wicking performance when you need it most, keeping you feeling fresh day after day on the hill. Additionally, the close-fitting hood does its part to trap in warmth around your head without getting sweaty. Flatlock low-bulk seams help prevent chafing when you're trudging through the snow, and thumb loops at the end of the sleeves lock in the fit while also blocking out the cold.

  • Long-sleeved, hooded, midweight baselayer for dry warmth
  • Merino+ fabric fights funky odors and wicks moisture away
  • Slim fit and close-fitting hood trap warmth without sweat

I never write reviews, but this one is worth it.

This base layer is the shit! It breathes well when you need it and with the hood and zipper it makes things easy to control temperature when ski touring. Between this and a goretex shell when there was bad weather, I put in countless ski touring days on it this season. I usually could get around 6 days before it started stinking, the merino does the trick. It's my favorite piece of clothing I own.

I bought this before last winter preparing for taking the entire winter off to ski. I put in problably 130-150 ski days on this thing, and wore it 30+ days besides that for other activities. It's still going strong, besides some normal wear around the wrists.
