Whether the summit is snowy or sunny,
Rab designed the 2-Person 4-Season Latok Summit Tent for nights at base camps in alpine and winter environments. Its eVent waterproof technology gives this single-wall tent the same waterproofing that Rab's top-of-the-line ski jackets have, and three-layer DVStorm fabric ensures strength and durability with a backpack-friendly weight.
DAC Featherlite NSL poles live up to their featherlite status and provide a surprising amount of stable, strong support. A rear tunnel vent works with eVent and DVStorm's breathable shell to ensure full ventilation. Oversize peg points, large loops at each side, and glove-friendly guylines let you set up without taking off your warm mitts.

My Luxury Bivi
- I've used it several times
This is definitely not a tent for everyone but man do I love it. Very minimal and tough as nails.I’ve owned several single wall tents over the years and this fabric breathes the best by far. Pole setup is pretty simple in comparison to my old BD highlight. I bought this as a single person tent for multi day ski tours and general winter camping but have used it in all seasons. Ive had it in the rain with no issues and high humidity with tolerable condensation. As for the bad, this tent is barely tall enough to sit up in and I am only 5’8. I wish it had 4 more inches of height but that would add weight so I get it. Also this thing gets hot! The tent has minimal ventilation so once the sun hits it you’re cookin. Weight and pack size is great for the durability of the material. Great tent if you want to pound alpine miles, stuff some calories in your face, pass out, wake up dry and do it again!

What is the purpose of the handle at the apex of the tent? I have heard others call it a "Belay Donut" before but I do not know what it is used for. Second, I know you do not carry it but is it possible for you guys to order the RAB Latok Ultra? Thank you for your help!!

You seem to have two tents mixed up -- the specs on the left are not for the Rab Summit (maybe the Rab Latok Mountain 2?). Which tent is actually for sale -- the Summit or the Mountain 2? See http://rab.equipment/us/shop/shelters

John, I am going to have someone run out to the warehouse and see what the actual tags say. There is definitely some kind of mix up. The weight of the tent puts it closer to the Mountain 2 but, it still doesnt match exactly. If you have anymore questions feel free to send me an email or call! The tent we have is the Latok Summit. The specs are wrong and the side and will be changed to correct ones!
