Wetted out quickly

Soaked through after a 10 min summer shower. Not cool for the price.

Sadly I’ve had to return

Sadly I’ve had to return the jacket because its fitted shape is too tight over my bust and one size up would be too long in the sleeves. The material feels incredible - really soft and comfortable - and I liked the colour too. I’ve gone with another Rab jacket (same size but different cut) in Gortex which is much crinklier but does fit.

This is my second Kinetic,

This is my second Kinetic, and with the exception of summer it gets worn pretty much every day. I only need this one jacket for walking as it does everything. Despite being thin it still keeps you warm in minus temperatures - just wear the right layers and use common sense. It is not bulky or rustly so it doesn't really feel like you're wearing a coat. I'm a fast walker and it has proven to be very breathable. Pit zips would be a bonus, but it is very rare that I miss them. Living in Cumbria I can confirm it is definitely windproof and waterproof! The hood is amazing - once up it doesn't move and no rain gets in. It was this that originally made me decide to buy this jacket as I hate having to walk while trying to hold a hood in place. The material is stretchy so there's still room to fit a hat underneath too. I am 5ft 8 with a small bust, broad shoulders, wide hips and a long torso. I tend to be a size 14, and that fits perfectly here too and leaves room for layers if you need them. It finishes mid-hip and doesn't need to be constantly pulled down or adjusted. An internal pocket would make it absolutely perfect but I appreciate that would compromise some of the other benefits. Overall, this jacket is brilliant! Very happy.

UNREAL Comfy Rain Jacket

I was a little skeptical that this jacket was going to be waterproof because it's so soft and stretchy, but it didn't disappoint. It doesn't have the plastic bag feeling that most rain jackets do, instead it has a soft next-to-skin feel. I do a lot of active outdoor activities and this jacket is perfect because it moves with you. I mostly use it for day hiking and trail running on those rainy days. Most rain jackets get all clammy on the inside, but this jacket never does. It dries quickly and is very breathable! I was also impressed with how cute the jacket was as well. I sometimes just wear it around town when I just need a light layer to throw on.

Beautiful jacket

Beautiful colour, so glad to see variety in colours in outdoor clothing! The jacket itself is brilliant, it fits great but there is also room for a fleece underneath. It’s really lightweight and packs down small.
