Wanted to love it
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it

Great athletic fit - I'm usually between a S and M and went with the M and it was perfect. Very stretchy. Everything seemed ideal. However when trying it on the inside was pretty scratchy. So much so that I ended up returning it. My skin is pretty sensitive to that kinda thing so maybe it was just me.

Does it all
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

The skinny: -size up if you're close to the border of two sizes (I'm usually a medium, went with a large) -highly breathable, don't expect a ton of warmth if this is your outer and you're sitting still. Meant for sending. -the green is bright -thumbloops and sleep ends are comfortable and provide relatively good coverage of hand. -stretchy I've put this through its paces across a few disciplines - running, hiking, cross country skiing, lounging around the house. It functions best as a mid layer for activitie pursuits but holds up as an outer, as long as you're moving. It's incredibly breathable, so you'll stay warm when working hard without getting drenched in heat. A small detail I would have never thought about before but appreciated on this is the shape of the wrist opening. It has a very comfortable, soft thumb loop to hold it in place, and the end of the sleeve is shaped to provide proper coverage on the back of your hand. I forsee this being thrown in my bag for any trip any time of the year.

Great Base/Mid Layer Option!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great fill and breathable mid layer or base layer. I used this as a mid layer over a Smartwool 150 and it worked great. Lightweight and warm. Runs a little small though, I normally wear a small and had to up size to a Medium. Has thumb loops on the inside of the cuff which is done really well I like that it is not a slit in the sleeve.

Goodbye Pata R1!!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

- XL

My replacement for the R1. For a couple reasons but mainly the light weight to warmth ratio. I think it's because the grid backing on the inside of the piece creates more dimension/depth than the R1. I also appreciate the full zip. I don't use the full zip always (usually half zipping) but nice to have it when I do need it. Also the hood fits perfect for above tree line pursuits. Also the thumb loops are nice and hidden on the inside of the wrist/sleeve area. I like how they arent visible and dont get in the way.
