The world's coldest temperatures and most extreme conditions call for the use of the Rab Expedition Mitten. Saying these mittens are heavily insulated is a gross understatement. Featuring 850-fill goose down, the Expedition Mitten keeps your digits toasty when you explore the world's highest peaks and polar regions.
Featuring a Pertex Endurance shell, these gloves provide total protection from howling winds and snow. Hard-wearing nylon throughout high abrasion areas ensures long-lasting use. The one-handed shock cord conveniently secures the mitten's gauntlet-style closure around your jacket cuff for an impenetrable fortress against the elements.

- Q & A
rab mittens are very warm, and keep you fingers warm.only thing they are very bulky and you can't wear them to drive a scooter.i would recommend these for anyone.
No removable lining
I got these because the Rab Nebula mitts I got last year were really nice. But I needed something warmer for really cold days. No removable lining in the pair I just received. Not listed on the Rab site either: https://rab.equipment/us/catalog/product/view/id/10060/category/228/
Rab & PrimaLoft: Palm Insulation on 8000
PrimaLoft has become the benchmark in synthetic insulation and is now the go-to choice for climbers looking for static protection in extreme conditions. Here at Rab we use the highest quality PrimaLoft Gold insulation in all of our PrimaLoft products.
The technical qualities of PrimaLoft Gold insulation are second to none. Microfibres trap body heat to make it the most thermally-efficient synthetic insulation available today, which even when wet will maintain 96% of its warmth.
Rab Hydrophobic Down
In the early days, Rab Carrington built his brand around down insulation, and we still see down manufacturing as a core part of the Rab brand today.
All of our down insulated products are filled with the highest quality Hydrophobic Down, developed in conjunction with Nikwax. The hydrophobic treatment is applied at source and is seen as the next step in our progression in down manufacturing.
