So far, I am into this jacket. I run cold and have been looking for a ski touring/climbing midlayer that will keep me warm without sweating buckets. A puffy just does not cut it - it is not breathable enough but also lets a ton of wind in, and it's not sleek enough for my taste either.

The Alpha Direct jacket is form fitting without being tight and it allows a natural range of movement in the shoulders/torso. I don't sense any lift in the waist when I raise my hands over my head, and it fits comfortably with my trad harness (long pockets means I can also stick my hands in there with the harness on).
The lining is cozy - I am a little worried this could be too warm for ski touring, but I'm pretty small and I run cold.

One qualm I have with this jacket - its kind of noisy! That has never been a dealbreaker for me when it comes to jackets, but the outer material crinkles noticeably which is not great, but again not a dealbreaker.

Fit: True to size, with a drop hem to cover the rear and fit under a harness.
