Road Bike Tube
The Q-Tubes Road Bike Tube isn't expensive but it is pretty necessary, so it's always a good idea to have two or three around, just in case. Keep 'em wherever, and rest assured that their durable design and reliable Presta valve will lock in the air, at least until you run over another broken bottle.

Flat after Flat

I'm starting to believe they make the tubes to go flat on purpose. I've bought 4 of them in less than 90 days and they always go flat with a small pin hole. I inflate to 55 psi I can ride without a flat but as soon as I inflate to 60 or more I get a flat every time. The tire says 75 psi and anything less than 60 does not feel firm. Anything over results in a flat. Will not buy anymore of these.

Presta 700 28-32 are sized for 27" rims
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- Runs large
I purchased these for some 700 30 tires. The quality of the rubber is fine. They have maybe 100 miles on them since purchasing. The Box size label is 27" by 1 1/4" with 700 28-32 being the secondary label. If you are not familiar, a 27" rim has a larger diameter than a 700c rim. The tubes were difficult to fit on a 700c rim as their diameter, prior to inflation was greater than the rims diameter and I had to fold the tubes over to get them to fit. Beyond the greater challenges of installing them, I am concerned they will be more prone to flats.

Do not purchase for gravel.

I bought these for my gravel bike. I had both tubes puncture within one hour. They could not handle moderate gravel. I have 25 years of racing and riding experience. These are the worst tubes I have ever used.

Never again
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have been fixing flats on my bike for 15 years and these are the worst inner tubes I’ve encountered. They are very thin, prone to flats, and I even had one explode when I was pumping it up to find a leak (trust me, it was far from being overinflated.)

Trustworthy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These Q-Tubes have been awesome. Affordable, yet hold up just as good, or even better than other inner tube brands I've tried. Plenty of tire and valve stem sizes available which makes it easy to find the perfect tube for your wheelset.

Serviceable Tubes so far.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
There's really not much to talk about with these inner tubes, which is a good thing. They're cheap and effective so far. No punctures caused by road debris or other riding-related events through 150 miles. Also, no significant air loss over time as far as I can tell. The option of variable stem length doesn't directly impact me but I can see how that'd be a nice consideration for people running deep sectioned wheels.

These do their job. They hold air and you can use them for your bike. That is a double win!

These are quality tubes. It’s great that they have options of different valve lengths.

Quality tube for the price
Much like the title, a good tube that has held its own with all other road tubes I have run,

What you would expect from a bike tube. Just make sure to specify the correct valve stem length pending on how deep your wheels are

Great spare
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Q-tubes makes a great spare tube for keeping in the saddle bag. I appreciate that I can get very long valve stems (up to 80mm) out of the box so I don’t need valve extenders even with deep dish rims (and nothing is worse than finding out that your spare tube won’t work b/c of a short valve stem). I’ve found them to be quite durable and effective.

Keep It Simple
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
They're tubes, they hold air, what more can I say. They've held up to biking to the bar, riding local paved trailways and the periodic gravel run. Valve stems seem to be sturdy and high quality as well. We'll see how long they last. So far, so good.

..its a tube. And you're right. But for the price and quality I have no complaints, and that's where the bar is set.
