Fit vs function
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 117 lbs
Size Purchased: XS

This was a bit of an impulse purchase as I needed a tank top in a hurry. Aspects of it I really like and others I disliked at first and now perhaps don't mind much.
Love: the colors grapevine and cobalt
The fabric has a nice lightweight, airy, unabsorbent feel.
The mottled hue helps hide stains (except white chalk -- don't mind my chalk bag stains in photo)

Questionable:
The cut of the racer back could be optimized aesthetically.
The short front and long rear seemed weird at first, because the back hangs down like a tongue. My initial impression was that I would want it all one length but I'm not sure I'd want the front much longer. So if anything, maybe marginally longer than the front all around? It's perhaps also a bit drapier around the abdomen than necessary.

All that said, since I bought it, it's been a go-to piece for me. The colors really pop and it functions great for those overheating workouts. I can't get it through the wash fast enough.

The cut/pattern of these is awesome. The waistband is perfect for wearing under a harness--nice and flat. I wear these under my climbing pants on chilly fall days and if the temperature cranks up high enough by midday, I just take my pants off and wear these as tights. They don't look like long johns, especially with the great colors they come in. They're not the most abrasion resistant as far as outerwear goes, but they do the job in a pinch. When I'm not wearing them at the crag, I find myself wearing them around the house; they are THAT comfortable.

I'm not sure I'd say they run small, but they do seem snug. I'm 112lbs, 5'4" and I wouldn't want to be much bigger to fit the size XS. Maybe another 5lbs?

I also have these in the Capilene 4 weight and they are COZY.

I have this mug and I love it. You can put it in a courier bag with your dissertation/art project/blueprints/you-name-it and, if the lid is screwed on tight, it doesn't leak.

It's a little slim so if you are spooning cappuccino foam into it, it requires a steady hand, but I love the way it fits in the hand while drinking. You can get a nice full-fingered wrap around the cylinder. Handles can be bulky and catch on things, but this mug fits into the oversized pocket of a jacket, which means you can take it anywhere, without having to carry a bag. And if you need a hands-free moment, just screw the lid on and slip it back into your pocket. Hell, you could even fit it in the back pocket of your jeans in a pinch!
