Familiarity: I've used it several times

I destroyed my KS Lev removing it from my frame once I discovered that it was seized. So my LBS gave me a great deal on a Fox Transfer, but they couldn’t use the KS remote, so they installed a Fox 2x/3x. The cable slipped right away because the set screw designed to hold it is weak. Adjusting everything was awful. The bolt to clamp the lever to the frame was located behind a cable routing channel and barrel adjuster, making it necessary to remove the cable from the post to gain enough slack to move things out of the way. So after reading a lot of reviews, I ordered the Wolf Tooth. What a difference! It was easy to install, integrated with my Shimano XT BL8000 lever, and just worked better. The range of motion made fully opening the valve on the Fox easier, so the actuation is better and the post snaps up faster if I want it to (full push). The quality of the Wolf Tooth is dramatically better than the Fox too. Well worth the price.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are actually pretty good. After wasting a few hours and 8oz / $15 worth of orange Seal, I finally figured out that Trek Bontrager "Tubeless Ready" wheels still need to be taped. Once I taped the rims, these tires were easy to install, and the combination of extra width, light weight, and lower pressure running tubeless really made a big difference in the ride and traction on my daughter's Trek Excalibur 8. These tires are a great deal, and worth a try.

I skied a pair of these at Whistler last week, and even though they looked strange compared to all of the wide skis everyone is using these days, they felt great. The difference between these and the Solomon QST 92 demo skis I had in the morning was like night and day. Turning on the Redster was effortless, and the edges really bit into the piste. I'm not a great skier, but these made me look better. Turns were crisp and without any smearing. If you like going fast and carving hard, these get it done.
