Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I will agree with prior post about them being small. But my caveat would be that lasts for 2-3 uses and then they stretch out to be pretty spot on. I got M, and being 5'10 170, the fit great. I would say that slippage is not an issue. I haven't had to test them in a crash but I would suspect they would hold well to anything that doesn't involve rocks...

Only downside in my opinion is that they don't breathe real well...FYI if you sweat like a piggy...

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: 9

great overall construction. Very good for xc and provides pretty good protection. The hard plastic over the knuckles will mold with heat increase from your hand or outdoor temp. Not sure that was a design tho...i purchased a size 9 with the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger being 7.5 inches, perfect fit.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I haven't had a chance to use the glove for an extended amount of time outside, but as far as I can tell its going to get the job done. Arc'teryx makes great equipment so I am hopeful that it lives up to their standard. The fleece liner is pretty warm and is removable which is a great feature. The removable wrist leash is probably the weakest part of the glove...Overall it has great dexterity which was most important to me as I am more of a mitten person, and was getting tired of taking my mitten off to adjust boots, skis, jacket, etc...
