Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of these bibs last fall and rode them comfortably and extensively this last winter in temps down to the mid 20s. Below that, they are no longer sufficient and I then used my Assos. These Castelli bibs fit small: I am 5'10", weigh 145 lbs with a 30" waist and the Medium size fits me perfectly. The wind-breaking fabric really cuts the wind out and will even repel some water. The zippers at the bottom of the legs are sturdy and solid. The chamois is comfortable for very long ride and keeps a man's genitalia where everything should be. I liked these bibs so much that I bought a second pair a week ago.

These gloves will keep your hands warm down to the mid 20s. Below that, they probably won't be sufficient. They are well made, flex well, and the special fabric at the tip of the index works on touch screens like that found on a Garmin Edge 500, 800 or 810. They do fit small. I am 5'10" and have normal hands (8.5" palm circumference) and I had to exchange for extra-large. I liked the gloves so much that I have bought a second pair.

Excellent construction and great Boa closings. However, the sizing is definitely an issue. I normally wear 9.5-10 US men size, and I never had to use a wide fitting show. So I first tried size 10 regular. My toes were curling backward and my foot felt like it was squeezed in a vise. So I exchanged to size 12 wide and these fit quite well. They would be a bit big if I were wearing regular bike socks, but if one is using a boot as opposed to a shoe, it is because it is cold... and wearing a thicker wool sock (as in a ski boot) makes all kind of sense. With these thicker socks, the boots are fitting me perfectly. I have ridden them in 0-10F temps and my feet remained comfortable for ~ 2 hours. The sole only handles 2-hole cleat system (mountain bike). So I just bought a set of Shimano PD-M520 to put on my road bike for the winter. So go at least one size larger and wide when ordering. Then you won't regret it.
