Everyone always feels like their feet are soaking wet in waterproof shoes and half the time it is just from sweaty feet. The eVent membrane on these shoes are amazing! I usually have very sweaty feet to begin with, but these shoes let em breath in warm temps. Using them in winter is usually what I like to use them for (best fat biking shoe in the winter), but I actually threw em on for a hike in CO late spring. They crushed thru the snow no problem, but even when it was 75 degrees out, my feet did not over heat. Most shoes are made with membranes that are NOT air permeable (most GORE is a great example). This shoe regulates the temperature of your foot way better than anything else I have tried before. Also having the membrane exposed, allows for no water to absorb into material which makes the foot feel like the shoe is wetting out. Great shoe and protection even if your feet run warm.

Great new shoe from Altra with the Grafton. A more technical/beefier version of the Wahweap. You get the sticky Vibram outsole on this guy which is great for smooth services. Great step in feel with the suede and can take a beating no matter where you are headed off to on the trail. Strangely, this shoe also look really nice with jeans which makes this shoe perfect for the work adventure as well. Only change I would suggest is to smooth out the front of the shoe on the outsole for some smearing capabilities on rock. Otherwise, one of my favorite shoes to grab off the rack and go!

A great new update to an already amazing shoe. I have been running in this shoe since it came out and seeing it evolve has been great! The previous model was a little to "stretchy" for my liking personally, but now with a more technical shoe, this thing can do it all. It works well for races, training, and in the gym. The new stiffer upper has been very nice for cross training in the gyms with some more "umph" for side to side activities. The new liner inside too is a nice upgrade. Still that great Altra Ego midsole responsiveness and feel, but a good upgrade up top.

This shoe has a ton of features for an awesome price!
-The Vibram outsole is super sticky with huge lugs for great traction
-Stone guard gives the added protection on gnarly terrain
-Upper drains in no time and very durable
-Quick draw in a great spot to lock the foot into place
-Shark Skin on the heel to kill any kind of slipping back there
-Snug feel to hold your foot in place over all the technical terrain still with footshape!

I was able to really put these things to the test for a Beast Spartan Race up in Breckenridge CO last year. That half marathon Spartan kicked my butt, but the shoes saved me over and over again. Not only did you have to run the trails up to the top of Breck, but hitting all the obstacles along the way couldn't have been done as well without these shoes. They threw you threw a lake 1 mile in. I saw people with second pairs of socks changing (I guess that is a thing if you don't have good shoes), but we were able to keep on running with the shoes drying out within a few miles after and finishing strong! This shoe can handle the gnarliest terrain and can take a beating. Even after putting a good amount of miles on em, they are in great shape. Strongly recommend!

When looking for a shoe to do it all for any adventure, this is the one! I was able to take this shoe on a bunch of trips to wear to work, out to dinner, hiking around, camping, and moving from place to place. The shoe is super lightweight, comfortable, and most importantly packable. The Footshape and balanced cushion have allowed for most of the feet and knee issues to go away. You will never go back and won't need another shoe after slipping your feet into these.

Most versatile bag and tent for everything from back packing to car camping. Super warm and comfy bag with great tech features. Favorite feature being the two zippers which makes it super easy to get in and out of the bag or if it gets too hot. The tent also is huge! Plenty of room to move around. The big double doors and vestibules can't be beat. 4 different ways to fold in the large door makes life easy.
