Just received this the other day so I have not used it but as soon as I saw there was a MIPS climbing helmet, I had to get it. I use MIPS in my bike and ski helmets and in a bike crash this summer I feel the technology definitely helped in a hard fall and hit on the side of my helmet. Other than a bit of a sore neck (whiplash) and shoulder after the crash my head was protected and could feel the side forces absorbed by the MIPS system. So figured why not in a climbing helmet. I found out the Mammut Wall Rider is the first and only MIPS. That said the helmet is super light. adjustable and I got the straps right after some effort, it's incredibly comfortable that I'll wear it all the time.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: size 10

Found this shoe to run tru to size. ie, I am a 10 on the foot measuring thing and have a pretty standard medium width foot. The size 10 fits great. Love the sock like entry into the show although it takes some getting used to to get it on. The loop on the top of the tongue makes it easy and after a couple days it's easy and feels great wearing it. Best thing I found out is the rubber is really sticky and you can trust Michelin knows their rubber.

replacing my 6 or 7 year old Ultimate Hoody. Pretty similar jacket but the new version is a thinner and lighter. The big difference is the inside. Whatever the fabric is on the liner, it feels much better than the scratchy sort of nylon like liner. The jacket still has the huge pit zips that go from the bottom hem of the jacket almost to the elbow. The new version also has a chest pocket. Still great Windstopper fabric and feels like better breathability. Not disappointed at all.

This shell is phenomenal. Already gotten a lot of use out of it with the wet springs so far. It's about the lightest I would go and still get plenty of durability. Really fits great to use as an everyday rain jacket but great for climbing, hiking and even light and packable for mountain biking. I've used a lot of goretex but this seems to take the cake when it comes to breathability. it has a much softer inside than other 3ply goretex jackets. great hood and one of the inside pockets which are mesh has another zippered pocket inside. I think its so you can open the pockets like vents but not lose money or keys if you vent. smart feature.

insanely cool pack!

Bought this cause it looked super clean, and love my Mammut ski pack, it was the right size but the description did not portray what is going on here. This whole pack zips open with a burly fat zipper that is really easy to deal with. So many pockets and loops to clip gear to. couple outside pockets and even comes with a rope tarp that is great. even has a little area to wipe the grit off your shoes at the start of the climb. Top pocket has a strap to hold a rope if you don't want it in the pack. Super impressed with all this has for the cost. materials are tough and it looks well made. Used it a few times and there is a place for everything you need for a day cragging. The picture is the pack is fully unzipped and loaded with everything needed including a small trad rack. every time I've used it I find something else I like about it. It's lined with a bright green color so easy to see all of your stuff. Really impressed and psyched!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Have a bunch of Darn Tough Hiking and ski socks. Can't wear these out or wear any other brand. Nothing feels as good. Tried a pair of this new running sock. Unbelievably light and fit is amazing with a nice stretchy and snug fit. Even fits better than my other DT socks. How do they do it? Not sure what kind of magic goes into these? Darn Tough is amazing,
