Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
I'm on my fifth pair of these ski pants. I've put them through anything and everything, skiing in the rain, single digit cold, powder, bumps, tree skiing (highly scratch-resistant), you name it. I also use them on a cold snowy morning blowing out the driveway and sidewalk with the snowblower. I wear them with a 2XU 3/4 compression tight, or an UnderArmor tight if it's a bit chilly, and they keep my legs warm even with lower temps and the wind blowing. The pockets are ample for wallet, keys, phone etc. I'm 215 with a 32 inch waist and a 30 inseam, so I had my tailor take the hem up 1 inch so they don't drag on the pavement when walking. I wear a 29.5 cm ski boot, and so the storm cuff is a bit snug but serviceable. They are really good in powder snow, as they are water resistant enough so that you don't get wet. Turn them inside out and throw them in the cold wash, hang them to dry and you're good to go. I highly recommend these ski pants as standard equipment for serious skiers.
