Great climbing skins - fast, grip well , bomber tip and tail attachment. I switch to the lighter LT version to match my skis but id recommend these heavier options to all intermediate skiers.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I toured with tracker two for several seasons around the world, it never let me down in training (i've never had to use it is a real rescue/recovery). Simple, easy to use and reliable. Only question is its lever to switch modes - can be easily knocked if care is not taken.

Simply a great binding, durable. Tour mode is great and easy, Ski mode is great telemark really well, Yes, the binding has sharp edges that can scratch your boot, however I would not worry about minor wear and tear to much if your as satisfied as I am with this binding - all products have some sort wear and tear/imperfection ;-).

Ok, I've not used mu new skins yet except to cut them - really easy to DIY with the tool provided. However, I have another pair cut for other skis and I can say that these skis grip really well, are easy to take on and off. My only advice is for a twin tip ski change the tail attachment to the twin tip connector, otherwise you will find the skin can come off the ski. Ive got both attachments now for flat tail and twin tip skis, can't wait to tour with them this winter.

This is a good synthetic bag, as far as synthetics go. It is really warm when all draw strings done up however I only use it for base camp or short guiding trips as it is just to bulky for serious missions - thus the problem with synthetics... still , if synthetic and spring are your thing and you can take the bulk, its a good one :)

Ive been touring with these skins for 6 seasons nth and south hemisphere and they are still going, no re gluing needed, just stored correctly. The tail piece can come loose on a flat tail ski, however for expeditions this has not been a major problem for me - in deep fresh snow it can be annoying.

This beacon is simple, and the three antenna system is more effective on a fine search then the previous model so in a situation where time is critical it is great. Be careful not to depress the search mechanism when using in a rescue situation - its very easy to accidentally do this and the mission is then lost.

Moved onto these t2x eco boots after a couple of seasons in a the blue t2's. I only got them at the end of the season at a great price, and had 3 days on them.

So far they are super comfy (had tem molded at a shop), and no, I have not had problems with the screws comeing loose (so far so good if the reviews are correct....).

Appreciate the high maintanence advice as i got these for some touring in india and need to get the repair kit right!

No probs getting the ball of the foot onto the bottom of the binding - did take a few runs to adjust to the stiffness from my old soft (bout them second hand) pair, but after a few runs I was doing the best turns of my life!!!

Enjoy, but I guess better be wary of the screw..
