The MemBrain Strata material is super breathable, much more so than Paclite jackets that I've owned. Very light weight and packs small, huge front pockets and underarm vents, great arm movement and a comfortable collar. It's pretty baggy around the waist but it still hangs well. It would be nice to have an inner pocket since it only has the two fronts and a shoulder pocket. Worth spending the extra bucks on this one if you're also looking at the PreCip.

Used this bag for a few trips this year. Managed to cram skis and a board in the same bag (Volkl Gotama 178s and Burton Custom X Wide 159) along with poles and snowboard boots. Plenty of room to stuff other gear like pants and layers in there.

Only two complaints about this bag would be it's weight since I get dangerously close to the airline's 50lbs limit when loaded and the lack of a shoulder strap. Also, seems to be a pretty popular bag right now so make sure you fill out the ID card or tag it somehow.
