Familiarity: I've used it several times

Unlike some of the reviews I've read, my Burton tool has been good to me. (knock on wood) Only used it for two seasons so far, but everything still works properly. So no complaints here.

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 155 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I'm 5'8, 155lbs, fit build, and a medium fits perfect. This jacket is a tailored fit, but I can still wear a sweater underneath if need be. Jacket isn't bulky but very warm! I can wear this jacket with just a tshirt underneath.... And I'll still be toasty warm down to 30/35 degree weather. (Of course with a hat and some gloves)

Any colder, you would have to start putting on some light layers. The hood is oversized. Blocks the wind nicely when worn up, but it will also block ur peripheral vision. Love this jacket. I got the camo version and its the sweeetness!

Small and doesn't take up too much space on ur snowboard. I got these because I didn't want to cover up the graphics of my snowboard. I got a 2015 Capita DOA, not trying to hide the smoking hot girl holding an axe.. with a huge stomp pad lol. These get the job done, provides just enough grip for my boots, and seem pretty reliable. I've probably went snowboarding about 15-20 times with these on.

Definitely more than enough padding in these shorts. Tailbone saver! I'm 5'8, 155-160lbs, and waist 32. I bought a medium and they fit fine. A little bulky but that's expected. I usually wear medium Burton or Northface snowboard pants, and these shorts make my pants a little snug, but they work.

Only con... the material that holds the padding in place stretches out while wearing em. So the small hole that you insert the tailbone foam pad into, scretches and widens. The tailbone padding comes out and rides up your back. A little annoying on the mountain. I was able to fix this by sewing the hole smaller, and the tailbone pad no longer comes out.

So again, shorts provide good protection, But the materials used aren't the best out there. I got these on sale and fairly cheap, so no complaints.
