After trying on about a thousand snowboard boots in various ski shops, I found these were the ones I could secure without any heel lift. The speed zone lacing is awesome, and allowed me to get the custom fit I needed, better than any single boa or traditional lacing boot I tried. Backcountry had these cheaper than any local spot, so I ordered the 6.5 (I wear a 7.5 to 8 size shoe, for reference). My first day out on the mountain in these, my toes and forefoot kept going numb, no matter how I laced them. Took them to the pro shop and had them heat molded, and dude also trimmed the liner on the edges to make room for my wider-than-average feet. After those adjustments, and switching to a slightly thinner pair of socks, I was able to ride in relative comfort for the rest of the day. I'm happy with my purchase, and would only wish that Burton would make women's boot better suited for wider feet!
