great boot , but
3 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 225 lbs
Size Purchased: 10.5

I wrote a previous review of these boots at ~ 200 miles of use... me, a Sierra wanderer.
To add...While a great pair of boots initially, super comfy right out of the box, they fell apart after ~ 500 miles - Both toe caps suffered a delam , and the seam at the outside, (little toe area) split wide open. While a possible field fix w/ super glue, needle and thread, and shoe goo, for $250 expected more durability. Sent them back in to manufacturer and was told that these boots not designed for off-trail work, which surprised me as the many ads seen tout this as primo Sierra footwear...NOT ! No replacement help offered either.
Great boot initially but realize they are a throw away after 1+ season.

Backpack Sierra often and bought these to replace some Vasque Clarions which fell apart. Usually carry ~35 - 40 pounds and go off trail. 35 days Yosemite and 140 miles this summer - miles of suncups, multiple water crossings and feet stayed dry/ nary a hot spot or blister with minimum break-in period prior.
Usually wear size 9 1/2 but on these, a size 10 fits better - thus 1/2 size larger?
Black boots look killer too -
Great boot and only con so far is cosmetic: There are two little, pewter/silver, rectangle, "gortex" badges, (one on the outside and slightly lower on each ankle - see picture above). After 100 or so most comfortable trail miles, looked down to see both badges now gone and leaving a small (but easily plug-able with snow seal?) hole on the outside of each boot.

Great sandal...would buy again too.
Only con is with small pebbles getting trapped under arch. I use these as a second shoe for backpacking, especially while fishing - which I do a lot of.
Great traction, super comfortable, and dry fast, but I do find myself stopping to take them off - to get rid of the small trapped stones which seem to find themselves inside sandal ...often.
