Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Went packing with a friend who was using my 20yr old REI 15 degree down bag. The temp at night was only in the 40's. (No tent). In the morning both bags were equally wet on the outside/dry on the inside. So the "dri down" is worthless.
My friend was warm all night with 1 layer of clothes. I wore 3 thin layers on top and leggings. My torso was warm but I could feel the cold from my thermarest on my legs. This is not a 20/28 degree bag.
It stuffs and compresses well. I'll keep it as a summer, low altitude bag just because I hate returning things.
I bought the regular men's for the shoulder and foot room ( I'm a 5'5, 125lb woman and like to store my day clothes in the foot of my bag.)
