Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love Buffs for keeping my bangs out of my face, especially on days where I don't wash my hair and it is disgusting. I have 3 of these now, and I am starting to feel like a hoarder but they do come in handy on the trail, working outdoors, and even just for travelling... you can wear one as a headband and one as a scarf and they take next to no space in your pack. If you hurt yourself you can Mcgyver a Buff into a tourniquet or ghetto sling. I have one with lions and other African creatures on it (must be discontinued now, I don't see it on the site), a merino wool one (HIGHLY RECOMMEND! not itchy or bulky at all), and the "Sitting Bull" version on this page. Aside from my confusion on the name "Sitting Bull" (it is more of a Tlingit or Haida style), the design is really attractive and I get compliments on it all the time :)))

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

While my Beta LT has only seen 2 moderate downpours thus far, I am happy with its performance. It starts to soak up water after a bit (it doesn't all bead off) but I stay dry on the inside, which is what really matters, right?
"Viridian" colour is a little teal-er than my monitor suggested but I got past that and am keeping the jacket.
Fit is flattering: I am sausage-shaped, 130 lbs, 5'6", and this jacket makes me look like I actually have curves. That's pretty cool.

I have 2 regular Buffs and have been nothing but happy with them, so when I saw that there was a merino wool version available, I went crazy and bought one. I feel suffocated having a ton of things, and am now considering giving away my other Buffs in favour of this wool version, with which I am 100% in love!!! It is light, yet the fabric feels nice and strong, not at all flimsy. It keeps its shape well and is not at all bulky, despite being a bit longer than a standard Buff. I have it in the "Cedar" colour, which is a nice neutral that goes well with whatever I wear.

love love LOVE this top! $60 is pretty steep for a tank top, but I was able to get it on sale so I am not going to complain about price :) Colour is gorgeous (Desert Turquoise), and fabric is substantial for something so light and thin. Seams are basically non-existent since they are sewn flat. I only wish I bought more!

Bought these poles for the Chilkoot Trail, but neither pole would lock. I actually ended up not using one at all and just storing it in my pack for the entire trail. I had to duct-tape the other pole together just to make it work. Sent them back as soon as I got home. Really should have splashed out for the BDs... next time I will.

I love the large size of this bottle but it arrived damaged... with a sizeable dent on the bottom. Because I needed it right away for a trip, I decided to just keep it instead of returning it and having to find a new bottle. I am assuming it was dented in transit, since I can't imagine whoever packed it would send out something so obviously damaged.
