Karen H.wrote a review of The North Face Paramount Peak Convertible Pant - Men's on July 3, 2012
I started buying the paramount in 2006 after my husband was diagnosed with MS. He is a farmer & need clothing that was breathable & quick to dry out after a long day of sweating in the southern summer heat. Six years later he is still wearing them & it's the only ones he wears! They wash up fabulous too! I must admit though I have a rather large laundry room with a line for hangup clothes so I never put them in the dryer. He still has & wears the 1st pair I ever bought. To the reviewer who mocked those who wear these pants but never actually hike or explore the outdoors I say to you, you should not judge a person because of that there are many reasons to wear these pants other than hiking. Its like saying you can't wear a ski jacket unless you are skiing or a baseball cap unless you play baseball. My husband started wearing these because of his disease and they have been a monumental help to him. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers about the new style though, MY HUSBAND WANTS THE OLD STYLE BACK!!!!!
