Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs small

This is the most comfortable winter kit I've ever worn, although it's not the warmest. I find that I'm comfortable in this kit from ~40°F up to ~50°F. Castelli rates the kit from 41-59°F, but I find I get too warm above ~50°F. In the 30s I need a base layer. Below that I'll add a jacket, a balaclava, and some ski socks. As with most of Castelli's more race-cut stuff, the sizing seems a tad small. At 6' 0, 185 lbs, the XL fits me perfectly.

I really like this bar tape. It's soft, tacky, and comfortable. My only complaint is with the bar plugs. They don't want to stay in! I swapped them out for bar plugs that came with some cheap-o cork tape and those stay in much better.

One note on installing this tape: you can't stretch it the way you would traditional cork tape. If you stretch it too tightly, it'll start to separate around the bends of your bars. Lizardskins has a good video on how to install it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxFdOnaRGVM.
