Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

First of all I hated on Sidi because I tried in the wrong pair and instantly hated them, plus I couldn’t for the life of me understand why they were so expensive. So I found a pair of bonts on sale and snatched them up. Right of the bat they were uncomfortable and ultimately ended up falling apart, so a shoe that retails for the same and is suppose to be next level lasted about a month. So I ended up finding these on a phenomenal deal. Should of just bought these off the start. When you get the right size and fitting it makes a heck of a difference. I know get the hype and understand why they’re priced like they are, worth every penny. Just as stiff if not more so than the bonts, if there is any give then it would be absolutely minimal. The two dials let you since these down and if they get to tight while riding then it’s as easy as squeezing the sides. They are extremely comfortable right off the bat and get more comfortable as you break them in. It’s hobestly slipper like in feel. I could rave about these things all day, if you’re having a hard time deciding between sides or not don’t make the same mistake I did. Call some one up and they’ll get you sorted.

Started out with a a pair of FR-C bibs but had to return for another set because of a quality issue Giordana is having. These new pair then went out as well, in true backcountry/competitive style they just sent me a pair of Castelli infernos. Glad I went with their recommendation ( they tend to be right when doing this) because these literally are truly unique. The fr-c were great and you could notice the bibs and chamois doing there job, but you’d have to occasionally adjust the pad. These completely disappear to the point thy you don’t notice your wearing them, it’s weird they’re not overly padded or make you feel like you’re wearing shorts but there also not under padded to where you notice that rock hard seat. To end it simply, there simple comfortable and do their job to the T. FYI these are the typical Castelli cycling wear, so size as appropriate.

First of all the pair I originally ordered had a defect after about 5 rides, literally had a new pair in the mail working 5 minutes. Absolutely phenomenal customer service. As far as sizing goes, regardless if you’ve been buying bibs for the past 50 years, every company and every model fits differently. Also if your expecting anything but a race fit you’re going to be disappointed, so they’ll be tight. I highly recommend you take 5 minutes to look at the sizing and measure yourself out, if you do that I guarantee you these will be one of the most comfortable pairs of bibs you’ll own. Every single bit of these are high quality and pure comfort, the shoulder straps are nice as displace themselves quite well. Another thing I noticed when comparing these to my older pearls, they are insanely light weight. Overall a great experience on a great pair of bibs.
